S:t Eskils offers three separate courses: Mathematical Studies, Mathematics Standard Level and Mathematics Higher Level.
Mathematical Studies is equivalent to the Swedish national Math courses Math 1-3. In Math Studies more time is spent on Statistics and Probability theory than in the Swedish National courses.
Mathematics SL is an advanced course which is equivalent to the Swedish national Math courses 1-5. In addition to the basic requirements of the national courses, vectors and matrixes are also dealt with in this course.
Mathematics HL is the most advanced of the Math courses provided at S:t Eskils. The basic course is equivalent to the Swedish national courses 1-5 (core requirements). In addition to the core requirements, students must select an option to focus on for an additional 40 hours of study. The option is equivalent to university level mathematics beyond what is studied at the 5 level in Sweden.
